Alone

When I see the beauty of a sunset’s glory
A million stars at night that line the moonlit sky
Or see the majesty
On a lofty mountain peak
I feel lonely.

Yet love is merely a distraction to the loneliness.

The Symbol

This may seem like merely a picture or a sign.
But to some, it’s a symbol.
A symbol that stirs up enthusiasm
A symbol that will make them smile
A symbol of resistance
A symbol of hope

It is a symbol that outlasted it’s official time
And it’s members know it’s true meaning in their hearts

And in times such as these,
When we feel so weak and outnumbered
This symbol is a call
A call to reunion
And a call…
To resistance.

A Musing

  • When God created man he was perfect, so let’s say he had perfect skin.
  • When man disobeyed God sin entered, so let’s say his perfect skin got bitten by a mosquito.
  • (Even if you kill the mosquito/serpent, the mark of sin is there.)
  • So God gives us laws to help us deal with our sin, in this analogy he says
  • “Don’t scratch the mosquito bite.”
  • We see the wisdom in that initially and obey.
  • Then we accidentally rub against it, and it feels nice.
  • So we intentionally rub against it to feel the relief from the itch.
  • Then the bite begins to itch more, and we begin to scratch more.
  • Soon we’re scratching the mosquito bite just because we want to.
  • In fact, we’ve come to accept that scratching is beneficial somewhat.
  • Then we see that the bite has grown.
  • To make matters worst, pus is coming out from it.
  • And we begin to get worried.
  • But we just can’t stop scratching because it feels so good.

So we blame God for it, and ask him why he allows infections and all the scary pus.

Now let’s say you give your life for someone.
You die so that someone can live.
But that person can’t take that fact that someone died for them.
The person doesn’t feel that important for someone to die for.
In fact, that person feels guilty that you gave your life.
So guilty that he or she can’t live on properly.
And gives up on himself or herself.
Now as this person’s life goes in a downward spiral,

What will you, looking down from heaven, be thinking?
