Gideon

Loosely taken here and there from Judges 6


Again the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the LORD, and for seven years he gave them into the hands of their enemies.

The angel of the LORD appeared to Gideon.

Gideon replied, "if the LORD is with us, why has all this happened to us?"

Thought: This somewhat addresses the question of Why would God allow suffering?

Gideon replied, "if the LORD is with us, why has all this happened to us?"

The angel of the LORD said, "The LORD is with you, go in the strength you have and save Israel."

Thought: This is sometimes God's answer to people asking for help.
