Change
It was a busy Thursday afternoon in camp. I was issuing instructions and checking my men's equipment while they were cracking jokes and cleaning up. All was well with the world. I guess i had finally gotten somewhat used to life in my camp after 9 months.
Then an instruction was given- Clean up your bunks, pack your stuff, close all windows and lock the doors.
Then it suddenly hit me. The life i had finally gotten used to... was forever gone.
We are not going to see our bunks for a long time. And when we finally do, things will never be the same.
I didn't know how to react, i didn't know how to feel- it was too sudden. I just got down on my knees in the centre of my empty bunk and lifted my hands.
"Now for wrath, now for ruin and a red nightfall!"
